Adrian Policena (born in December 7, 1979 in Lucban, Quezon, Philippines), also known as Chris Tsuper, is a radio disc jockey[1] and recording artist in the Philippines. He is best known for his program Tambalang Balasubas at Balahura (with co-host Nicole Hyala) at 90.7 Love Radio and through Love Radio stations nationwide.

Early life

Policena was a graduate of Mass Communication at Far Eastern University. When he headed back to Lucena, he was discovered by Lady Love, the station manager of Love Radio Lucena. Thus he began to work as "Carlo Valentino" at that station.

Career

He later moved to Manila for his work at 90.7 Love Radio, then at afternoon drive. He and Nicole later switched to a morning-slot to become what is now known as the "Tambalang Balasubas at Balahura". Several songs performed by him and Nicole were played on all Love Radio (and later, sister station Yes! FM) stations. However, rival stations refused to play for fear of promoting their competition.

Recently, he and Nicole crossed-over to television, as the additional hosts of the Friday (Saturday morning) edition of Music Uplate Live on ABS-CBN.[2]
