Christopher "Chris" Brown (born 16 August 1974, Oldham, England) is a first-class cricketer who plays for Unicorns.[1]

Having been educated at Failsworth School,[2] Brown went on to play Second XI cricket for many county sides, including his native Lancashire, as well as Derbyshire, Glamorgan, Essex and Somerset.[3] Brown made his List A debut for Norfolk in the 2001 C&G Trophy and played six matches for them over three seasons, winning his county cap in 2001.

In 2006, Brown made his first-class debut, playing for the Sri Lankan side Badureliya Sports Club.[4] From 2006 until 2010, Brown was playing in the East Anglian Premier Cricket League for Horsford Cricket Club.[3]

A regular player for the Minor Counties representative teams,[3] Brown was selected as one of 21 players to form the first Unicorns squad to take part in the 2010 Clydesdale Bank 40 domestic limited overs competition against the regular first-class counties. The Unicorns were made up of 15 former county cricket professionals and 6 young cricketers looking to make it in the professional game.[1]
