Chris Baldo

Chris Baldo (real name Christian Baldauff, 24 June 1943 - 24 January 1995) was a Luxembourgish singer. He was born to a French mother, and a Luxembourgish father, in Luxembourg.

At the age of 16, he recorded an album as a duo with a friend, called "The Youngsters".

He participated in the Polish festival Sopot in 1967. In 1968 he represents Luxembourg, in the Eurovision Song Contest 1968, in a duet with Sophie Garel, with the song "Nous vivrons d'amour", placing eleventh out of seventeen with five points.[1]

He also hosted the RTL show Les Nocturnes, a night-time broadcast on US music, before giving it to Georges Lang.
