The Chicago International Model United Nations (CIMUN) conference is an annual four-day event for high school Model United Nations students. It is held at the Hilton Chicago hotel in downtown Chicago, Illinois in December. It is currently on its eleventh installment.

CIMUN began in 2004 as a project of the Model United Nations Development Organization (MUNDO). In its first year, the conference was attended by approximately 150 student delegates. Over the years it continued to grow, with the number of registered delegates increasing by an average of twenty percent annually. It is the flagship conference of MUNDO, and attracted over 1300 student delegates in Dec 2015.[1] The conference is a fully integrated simulation experience, meaning that decisions in one committee can and will affect multiple other committees.[2] This method encourages delegates to cooperate and work across different forums, creating an extra level of realism during the simulation.
