Cheepurupalli is a major commercial centre and census town in Vizianagaram district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the second largest Town after Vizianagaram in Vizianagaram District.It is located in Cheepurupalle mandal of Vizianagaram revenue division.[1]

- Cheepurupalli is an assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh. It consists of Cheepurupalli, Garividi, Merakamudidam, Gurla mandals.
Politics
Cheepurupalli is an assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh.As of 2009, the Electoral college includes the people of four Mandals namely Cheepurupalli, Garividi, Gurla and Merakamudidam.
The Politics in the constituency is mainly dominated by the INC and the TDP, although the YSRCP and the Lok Satta parties have a presence. Kamidi Mrunalini is the present MLA of the constituency.[3]
Education
The primary and secondary school education is imparted by government, aided and private schools, under the School Education Department of the state.[4][5] The medium of instruction followed by different schools are English, Telugu.
