Chaukidanda
Chaukidanda, Bhojpur, Nepal is one of the most beautiful places in northern part of Bhojpur district. Sankhuwa-sabha district lies in north of Chaukidanda. In east Kulung, in south Nepaledanda and Kudak kaule and in the west Khatamma VDC lies. Chaukidanda is trekking route to Khumbu area from east Nepal. It is fertile place to grow rice and vegetables. Cinnamon, Rudrakshaya production became the important farming in recent days. Four mini hydro provides electricity in the town and road is recently constructed. There is facility of Higher Secondary School and health post as well. 5 Megawatts power project is proposed at Irkhuwa river which flows from the town.
