The Plot

The life of Chandana Raju is in the Chandraharam worn by him in the neck. He paints the image of a beautiful lady and wants to marry her. His adviser Dhoomaketu wanted to dethrone him and occupy the kingdom. He sends Niksheparaya to kill any lady with similar resemblance. Yakshini Chanchala loves the king by hearing his song. She was refused and insulted. She takes away the Chandraharam, thereby killing him. He comes back to life by another Yakshini. During this period, he finds Gowri, the painted lady and marries her. Finally her Pativratyam saves him from Chanchala and death.
