Chan Peng Soon (born 27 April 1988 in George Town, Penang) is a Malaysian professional badminton doubles player. His regular partner is Goh Liu Ying but in June 2014, Lai Pei Jing was named as his new partner while Goh went on hiatus to recover from knee surgery. Chan and Lai ranked as high as No. 48 worldwide.

Chan resumed his partnership with Goh as of 2015 and at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, they became the first Malaysian mixed doubles pair to win a Silver medal when they reached the finals of the mixed doubles event in Rio.

Personal life

Chan has been married to Malaysian singer, Ester Cham May May since September 2010. They have a son, Milton Chan (b. 2011) and a Daughter, Hannah Chan (b. 2015).

Chan competed in badminton at the 2016 Summer Olympics in mixed doubles with partner Goh Liu Ying and earned a silver medal. They were defeated in the final by the gold medalists Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir of Indonesia in straight sets 21–14 and 21–12.
