Calvin Jones (born January 26, 1951 in San Francisco, California) is a former cornerback of the Denver Broncos. He collegiately played for Washington Huskies. He graduated from Balboa High School in the Fall of 1968.[2]

In 1970 Calvin Jones, along with Mark Wheeler and Ira Hammon, quit the University of Washington team, holding a press conference denouncing racial discrimination on the part of the coaching staff led by coach Jim Owens.[3] In 1971 Don Smith, an African-American, was appointed UW assistant athletic director. He asked Calvin Jones to return to the UW. Calvin Jones became an All-American for UW in 1972.[4]
