The Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan is the chief executive body in Turkmenistan. The Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan is appointed by the President of Turkmenistan who is both the chief of state and head of government.

Minister of Education Purli Agamuradov was appointed as the minister for education on 5 April 2015.

He was born in 1962 in Ashgabat. He graduated as economist in 1986 from the Turkmen state institute of economics and management. He is candidate of economic sciences from Belarus. He started his career in 1979 as worker in the repair and construction management of Ashgabat. In 1986-1990 he worked as a lecturer at the Turkmen institute of national economy. In 1990-1993 - postgraduate student of the Belarusian State Economic University. In 1993 -2002 he worked as a senior lecturer at the Turkmen institute of national economy, and in 2002-2008 – took various positions in governorate of Ashgabat. From 2008 till his appoint as education minister on 3 April 2015, he worked as the rector of the Turkmen state institute of economics and management.
