Brandon Wegher (Way-ger) (born December 9, 1990) is an American football running back who is currently a free agent.[1] He played college football for two different colleges, the University of Iowa and Morningside College where he was an NAIA national All-American breaking the NAIA national rushing record.[2] His younger brother, Jack Wegher, is currently a 3 star football recruit for the 2016 class who plays at IMG Academy in Florida.[3] His father, Rick, played college football at South Dakota State and then professionally in Canada.[4]

Professional career

After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, Wegher signed with the Panthers. He was inactive for all but one game in 2015. On September 3, 2016, he was waived by the Panthers as part of final roster cuts.[5]
