Borrell I of Pallars

Count Borrell I (Spanish: Borrell I de Pallars) was a Spanish nobleman and the Count of Pallars.

Family

Count Borrell was a son of the Count Lope I of Pallars. Borrell's mother was Countess Gotruda de Cerdanya.[1]

Borrell ruled Pallars together with his brothers, Raymond II of Pallars and Suñer I.

Wife of Borrell's was Lady Ermentruda.[2]

  2. According to Europäische Stammtafeln, she was actually Ermengarda/Ermentruda de Rouergue, a daughter of one count called Raymond.
