BoBoiBoy Galaxy is a rebranding and sequel title of BoBoiBoy. It will be aired in end year's school holiday in TV3.[1] BoBoiBoy Galaxy will focus more on an adventure based storyline and will have 104 episodes.[2]

Production

Animonsta Studios has announced unofficially about BoBoiBoy Galaxy in 2013, where they released a picture of BoBoiBoy Galaxy poster, with the different attire of BoBoiBoy Blaze and BoBoiBoy Ice. They were believed as the first concept of the second level of BoBoiBoy Fire and Water before it was changed in BoBoiBoy's Season 3. Then, Animonsta has revealed the plan of BoBoiBoy Galaxy in their website,[2] which most of the fans still didn't realise about the rebranding of the series.

Animonsta Studios then announced it officially on their Facebook account, which BoBoiBoy Galaxy would be aired in June 2016.[3] After BoBoiBoy: The Movie, they made a new and detailed announcement: the storyline is more on travelling across the galaxy to search for Power Spheres, the setting takes place 2 to 3 years after BoBoiBoy: The Movie and MONSTA will also release the comic first before the animated series. They also announced that the production will start soon and expected to release its first batch of episodes around September to December 2016.[4]

In July 2016, they finally announced that BoBoiBoy Galaxy will be aired in end year's school holiday in Malaysia at TV3 while the broadcast for MNCTV in Indonesia will start in January 2017 and TVB Pearl Hong Kong at December 20 2016.[1]
