Big Brother 4 (Albania) is the fourth season of the Albanian series of the worldwide franchise of Big Brother. It launched on Saturday, 25 December 2010, with fifteen Housemates entering the House. The winner received a 10,000,000 Leks (€75,000) prize. Ermela Mezuraj, a 24-year-old social worker from Tirana won the fourth edition of Big Brother Albania, and in doing so she was the first female winner of the show. Big Brother 4 (Albania) aired on two cable channels 24 hours a day on the Digit-Alb cable network, as well as on two additional channels on DigitAlb Mobile. Daily reviews were shown Monday through Saturday on Top Channel. The eviction show aired on Saturdays at 21:00 CET, while a Sunday edition closed off the week. The main host is Arbana Osmani, while Eno Popi hosted the Sunday morning edition called "Big Brother Albania Fans' Club", featuring dialogues with eliminated contestants and fans of the show. Blendi Salaj, a young publicist, blogger and radio morning show host took over the role of the panelist. The panelist asked Housemates questions regarding their life in the Big Brother house, helping to provide the public with deeper insights. The Big Brother Forum didn't return this year.

Housemates

Algen

Algen Nikolla is a 34-year-old security man from Lezhe, Albania. His hobbies are music, exploring animals and partying. He entered the Big Brother House for fun. He entered the House on Day 8. Algen was the thirteenth person to be evicted from the Big Brother house with 30% of votes.

Alkena

Alkena Dervishaj is a 22-year-old student from Peja, Kosovo. Her hobbies are the politics, the literature, movies and Facebook. She entered the Big Brother House to show the people another image of Albanian girls from Kosovo. She entered the Big Brother House on Day 1. Alkena was the eleventh person to be evicted from the Big Brother house with 37% of votes.

Alma

Alma Alikaj is a 29-year-old student from Apulia, in southern Italy. She enjoys music and dancing and entered the House to realize her dreams. Alma entered the House on Day 1.

Edison

Edison Hoxha is a 24-year-old model and stripper from Vlore, Albania who currently lives in Italy with his family. His hobbies are music, soccer and dancing. He entered the House for fame in Albania. Edison entered the House on Day 22. Edison was Ejected from the Big Brother House because of misbehaviour.[1]

Elisa

Elisa Caushaj is a 22-year-old Manager Assistant from London, England. Her hobby is fashion. She entered the House for fame and to meet new people. She entered the House on Day 8. Elisa was the eighth person to be evicted from the Big Brother house with 34% of votes.

Emiljo

Emilio is a 28-year-old student from Korca, Albania who currently lives in Tirana. His hobby is soccer. He entered the house for his life, in which he is unhappy and wants a change. Emiljo entered the House on Day 1. Emiljo was the ninth person to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

Ergys

Ergys is a 24-year-old theater actor from Kruje, Shkodër. His hobbies are music and literature. Ergys entered the House on Day 1.

Ermela

Ermela Anja Mezuraj Winner of the 4th edition. 24-year-old social worker from Vlora, Albania. Her Hobby is music and her main goal in entering the House was to earn fame and to win the big prize. She entered the House on Day 8. At the end, she walked very satisfied since she reached her goal. She returned in Big Brother 5 (Albania) as a guest showing the public the house.

Ervin

Ervin is a 33-year-old instructor from Thailand. His hobby is sport and partying. He entered the House to meet and find new friends. He entered the House on Day 8. Ervin was the tenth person to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

Fatjona

Fatjona Daci is a 22-year-old student from Tirana, Albania, originally from Dibra, Macedonia. She is the first person of the entire Big Brother Albania Series who is from Macedonia. Her Hobbies are music and fashion. She entered the House to win the big prize. Fatjona entered the House on Day 1. Fatjona was the second Person to leave the House on Day 8.

Faton

Faton is a 26-year-old musicer from Prishtine, Kosovo. His hobby is sport. He entered the House to win the big price. Faton entered the House on Day 22. On Day 25, Big Brother told him that his father is sick and that he has to leave the house. On Day 29 Big Brother told the public that his father died.

Hënes

Hënes Dalipaj is a 24-year-old. He manages a family business. He lives in Vlore, Albania. His hobby is soccer. He entered the House to become a Celebrity. Hënes entered the House on Day 1. He was the fifth person to leave the house on Day 15 with 45% of votes.

Imelda

Imelda is a 25-year-old stylist from Tirana, Albania. Her hobbies are fashion and dancing. Imelda entered the House on Day 1. Imelda was the 1st Person to leave the House on Day 8.

Jonela

Jonela is a 21-year-old seller from Tirana, Albania. Her hobbies are fashion and music. Jonela entered the House on Day 22. Jonela was the fourteenth person to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

Klaudia

Klaudia is a 20-year-old saleswoman from Sarande, Albania. Her Hobbies are music and dancing. She entered the House to realize one of her dreams. She entered the House on Day 8. Klaudia was the twelfth person to be evicted from the Big Brother house with 32% of votes.

Klodiana

Klodiana is a 19-year-old student from Tirana, Albania. Her hobby is music. She entered the House because she likes to meet more People. Klodiana entered the House on Day 1.

Kreshnik

Kreshnik is a 25-year-old company owner from Tirana, Albania. His hobbies are music and swimming. He entered the House to show the personality of a real human. He entered the House on Day 8. Kreshnik was the sixth Person to leave the House on Day 15.

Mariel

Mariel is a 23-year-old pro wrestler from Vicenza, Italy. He prefers rock music. He entered the House to meet people in his Generation in Albania. Mariel entered the House on Day 1.

Mirjeta

Mirjeta is a 23-year-old. She lives in London, England. Her hobby is music and she likes to party. She entered the House on Day 1.

Neda

Neda Karafili is a 20-year-old student from Tirana, Albania. Her hobby is literature. Neda entered the House on Day 1. She also appeared in the Albanian version of the show, 'The Million Pound Drop' along with Petrit. They both failed on the question 'Which city was Nicole Kidman born?' and they picked Melbourne but the correct answer was Hanalulu.

Ogren

Ogren is a 26-year-old advertising worker from Tirana, Albania. His hobby is soccer. He entered the House to change his normal life. Ogren entered the House on Day 1.

Olger

Olger is a 26-year-old student from Tirana, Albania. He is a singer/producer. He entered the House to promote himself and his music. Olger entered the House on Day 1. Olger was the fourth Person to leave the House on Day 8.

Petrit

Petrit is a 23-year-old graphic designer from Prishtine, Kosovo. His hobbies are films, music and sport. Petrit entered the House on Day 22.

Shkelqim

Shkelqim is a 30-year-old restaurant owner from Vlore, Albania. His hobbies are music and cooking. Shkelqim entered the House on Day 22. He was the fifteenth evicted on day 71.

Toros

Toros is a 37-year-old club organiser from Venezia, Italy. His hobbies are sport and Politics. Toros entered the House on Day 1. Toros was the seventh Person to leave the House on Day 22 with 36% of votes.

Vladimir

Vladimir is a 42-year-old businessman living in Italy. His hobbies are music and poetics. He entered the House on Day 1. Vladimir was the third Person to leave the House on Day 8.

^1 From the beginning of the first live eviction show all of the housemates were automatically nominated for eviction. The three housemates who received the least amount of votes to save would be evicted. Shortly before this took place, Imelda, having been automatically put up for the public vote, was evicted from the house.
^2 Before the eviction in week two, the housemates were told that they all had to vote for one of their fellow housemates that they would like to see be evicted from the house. As this was a fake vote and as Algen received the most votes he was automatically nominated two weeks in row.
^3 Do to the growing gap between male and female housemates in the house, for nominations in week only female housemates (excluding Ermela) were eligible to be nominated.
^4 Before round ten of nominations began, Big Brother put the four housemates who had yet to be nominated, Ergys, Mariel, Petrit and Shkelqim, up for a vote to save. The three who lost the vote would automatically be nominated for eviction. The voting results were as follows, Mariel received votes from Alma, Mirjeta, and Neda, Sheklqim received votes from Ermela and Jonela, Ergys received a vote from Klodjana, and Petrit received no votes to save.
^5 In round fourteen the nominations were done in secret with each housemate writing down on a sheet of paper who they wanted to nominate. Ermela received the most nominations with 5 and was up for eviction. The public then voted for whether they wanted to save or evict Ermela.
