Bayview Community School is located in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. It was built on a reclaimed marsh in September, 2000.[1] When the school first opened, the students came from the Blockhouse Bulldogs and the Mahone Bay Hawks. The school created a new mascot and the Bayview Bobcats were born. The two feeder schools got to pick a selection of names from a contest and the name chosen was Bayview Community School.

There are 430 students currently enrolled in the school from primary (or kindergarten) to grade 9. The principal is Craig Pottie, who was previously the vice principal of the Mahone Bay school.

The school organizes many fundraiser events including Bayboo, Walkathon, and the Terry Fox Run. Bayview's motto is "We are only defeated if we give up", and the 48 teachers and staff impress that motto on the students.

Achievements

Bayview Community School has won the following regional championships.
