Barneston, Washington

Barneston is an extinct town in King County, in the U.S. state of Washington. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place.[1]

A post office called Barneston was established in 1901, and remained in operation until 1924.[2] The community was named after John G. Barnes, an original owner of the town site.[3]
