Barbados Jazz Festival

The Barbados Jazz Festival was an annual jazz festival of the Caribbean island of Barbados. It was a week-long celebration held annually in January, a jubilant affair that attracted a cast of talented musical maestros to the streets of Bridgetown who played for hours every night in festivity.[1] The annual event was a juxtaposition of musical art against the backdrop of traditional tropical life in Barbados.[2] On December 4, 2010, the producers of the festival announced that it would be cancelled for 2011 due to budgetary constraints.[3]
