Banco Santander Totta S.A. (formerly Banco Totta & Açores[n 1] and then Banco Totta) is a Portuguese bank, founded in 1843. It is the fourth largest bank in Portugal and the third largest private bank of the country. In 2000, the then Banco Totta was acquired by Santander Group, latter changing its name to Banco Santander Totta. In 2004 the bank absorbed sister company Crédito Predial Português.
