Azizur Rahman (Born October 10, 1939) is a Bangladeshi film director, cinematographer, art director and screenwriter.

Education

Rahman graduated in 1958 with a diploma in Fine Arts from Charukala Institute, Dhaka.

Career

Rahman started his career as an assistant director of the film E Desh Tomar Amar. He made his directorial debut in 1967 with Saiful Mulk Badiuzzaman. He was the director of SAARC joint venture movies. Some of his movies were Chhutir Ghanta (1980)[1] and Osshikhito (1978). He won National Awards for both. He has directed a grand total of 53 films.
