Auldbrass Partners is a Private Equity secondaries firm which was spun-out from Citigroup in 2011.[1] They currently monitor over $1.3 billion in assets via separate accounts and co-mingled funds of private equity secondary limited partnership interests invested primarily in U.S. and European-based funds. Within private equity, the firm invests employs a deep value strategy. Auldbrass is headquartered in New York. Auldbrass is a 100% employee owned, Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE).[2]

Investments

The Company offers separate account management services to select family offices and institutions. Via its operations, the Company has a network of 200 funds and 300 general partner/limited partner relationships.[3] The team has had experience of over $5 billion (500 fund transactions) of deal experience. Auldbrass targets differentiated, smaller opportunities which larger secondary funds must forgo due to size scalability, and has the ability to underwrite transactions that require second or third level analysis (i.e., feeders and fund-of-fund vehicles).[4]

Recent Events

Auldbrass closed its Secondary Opportunity Fund I in December 2014; the Fund has not specified a target hard cap. The fund seeks to invest in private equity and hedge fund secondaries globally[5][6]
