Accreditation

Augusta Christian Schools is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)

History

The school was founded in 1958 as a small class. They met for years in South Augusta, and moved to the Baston Road campus in 1973. The school grew in the 1980s and 1990s as new buildings were built. The School of Talent Development was founded in 1990 to service students with learning differences and has been a real ministry in the community.

In 2005, the elementary school moved to a former church building nearby. In 2008, due to declining economy and falling enrollment, plans were made to sell the elementary property and move back to just one property again.
