Athens Symphony Orchestra (USA)

The Athens Symphony Orchestra is an orchestra based in Athens, Georgia, United States. The orchestra was formed in the 1970s.[1][2]

The first conductor was Albert Ligotti and performances began on April 28, 1979. The orchestra's offerings include a fall and spring Concert, and youth, Christmas and pops concerts. The current conductor is Susan Dinwiddie, with assistant Brad Maffett.[3]
