Asipa

Asipa is a town in Ife North Local Government area, Osun State, Nigeria. It was founded by a warrior known as Fasina from Ile-Ife, an ancient Yoruba city.

Ruler

The ruler of Aṣipa is styled His Royal Highness, Alaṣipa of Aṣipa. Johnson Dada Oyebowale, Akinfabi II, is the current Alaṣipa of Aṣipa. He ascended the throne of Aṣipa in 1978 and is the longest-reigning king in this area of Osun State...may God enlarge our coat in Asipa town.
