Ashish Sharma is a popular Indian film and television actor. He is well recognized for his roles as Lord Ram[1] in the TV show Siya Ke Ram , as Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat in the TV show Rangrasiya and as ChandraGupta Mourya in the series ChandraGupta Mourya on imagine TV.
Early life
Ashish Sharma was born on August 30, 1984 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He did his schooling from India International School and then pursued a degree in Fashion Designing from National Institute of Fashion Technology.
Career
Ashish Sharma began his film career with the 2010 Hindi film Love Sex Aur Dhokha.[2] In the same year he starred as the male lead in Imagine TV's Gunahon Ka Devta.[3] He then delineated Chandragupta Maurya in the historical drama series Chandragupta Maurya.[4] He also appeared as Ranveer in Zee TV's Rab se Sona ishq. But it was his character,Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat,a BSF officer, in Colors TV's RangRasiya, that garnered him both critical and audience appreciation. He was the winner of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 7 in 2014.[5] He is currently seen portraying Lord Ram in Siya ke Ram.
Personal life
On 30 January 2013,He married television actress Archana Taide.[6][7]
