Apostolic Prefecture of Zhaotong

The Apostolic Prefecture of Zhaotong is an Apostolic Prefecture, or missionary area, of the Catholic Church centered in the city of Zhaotong in the Chinese province of Yunnan. It was established in 1935.

In 2000, the Vatican appointed Father Lawrence Zhang Wen-Chang as the Apostolic Administrator of Zhaotong.[1] He served in that position until his death in February 2012.[1]
