Antonio Marín Molina (born 17 June 1996) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Granada CF B on loan from UD Almería. Mainly a right back, he can also play as a central defender.

Club career

Born in Benalúa, Granada, Andalusia, Marín joined UD Almería's youth setup in 2010, aged 15, after stints with UCD La Cañada Atlético,[1] Villarreal CF and Granada CF.[2] He made his senior debuts with the B-team in the 2013–14 campaign, while still a junior, in Segunda División B.

On 8 January 2014 Marín made his first-team debut, starting in a 1–1 away draw against Racing de Santander, for the season's Copa del Rey.[3] On 5 December he appeared in his second match, playing the full 90 minutes in a 4–3 win at Real Betis for the same competition.[4]

Marín made his La Liga debut on 8 April of the following year, starting in a 0–4 away loss against FC Barcelona.[5] On 19 June 2015 he signed a new four-year deal with the Rojiblancos, being definitely promoted to the main squad now in Segunda División.[6]

On 21 January 2016, after being rarely used, Marín was demoted to the B-team until the end of the campaign.[7] On 12 August he joined another reserve team, Granada CF B in a one-year loan deal.[8]

International career

Marín was called up to Spain under-16s in 2012, and later appeared with the under-17s in 2013 UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifying and elite rounds.[9]

On 28 January 2014 Marín was called up to the under-18s,[10] after playing in several matches with the under-19s, also winning the L'Alcúdia International Football Tournament in 2013.[11]
