Anitra Ahtola
Career
Anitra was the first runner up in the Miss Finland contest of the year 1996. She met Jari Komulainen, when she won a beauty pageant, Miss Submarine, which Komulainen had arranged. She started dancing when she was 4 years old in the dancing school of Margare Von Bahr. At the age of 9 she got into Finnish Nationaloperas ballet school, where she studied for 8 years. In the summer of 1993 she studied in London at the Laban Center. In 1994 she studied to be a gymnastics teacher in Varala Sports school. She started a dancing school Dance Center Ani in August 1999.[1] The City of Espoo selected Anitra as the entrepreneur of the year in 2003 and the Helsinki metropolitan young entrepreneur in 2007.[2] She is involved with The National Coalition Party local politics in Finland.[3]
Personal life
Anitra married Jari Komulainen in 1998. They separated in 2002 and filed for divorce in January 2003. They have two sons, Oskar and Alex.
