Altars of Desire (1927) is a silent drama film directed by Christy Cabanne and starring silent movie star Mae Murray. A print may survive in the Turner/MGM vaults[1] however lists this film as being lost.[2]


Claire (Murray) is sent to Paris by her father (Edeson) to acquire polish. A fortune-hunter (Beranger) stalks her, but so does good guy David Elrod (Tearle).
