Alistair Bain is a football manager who in 2010 became the youngest head coach to hold a position in US Soccer.

Youth Coaching Career

Bain began coaching within the Scottish Football Association development program, but moved on to hold youth team roles with Crystal Palace FC, Fulham FC, Watford FC & Celtic FC.

GPS Portland Phoenix

Alistair joined GPS Portland Phoenix in 2009 when the club opened their doors for the first time. In a combined role Bain held the position of Youth Team director, playing a significant role in the development of soccer in the state of Maine, and the head coach of the clubs Men's team who compete in the USL PDL.

During his time with the Phoenix Men's team Bain presided over 3 league championship winning teams & lead the team to 3 US Open Cup appearances.

Seacoast United Phantoms

In July 2016 Bain was appointed the head coach of the Seacoast United Phantoms PDL team along with managing the clubs U16 Boys Development Academy team.
