Alexander Townsend Jackson, DSO was a British Army officer and sports shooter.

Jackson was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Worcestershire Regiment on 9 September 1891, and was promoted to lieutenant on 24 December 1892.[1] He was seconded for service with the West African Frontier Force, and was promoted to captain on 10 January 1900.[2] He later fought in World War I and was injured three times. As of 1918, he was a lieutenant colonel, and had earned a third bar for his Distinguished Service Order.[3]

He competed for the British Olympic team at the 1908 Summer Olympics.[4]
