The song serves as the lead single from her untitled third studio album to be released May 2017, and features American rapper Lil Yachty. In August 2016, Charli XCX revealed that her upcoming album would largely be produced by Sophie and Stargate.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

Critical reception

Ailbhe Malone of The Irish Times called it "a turned-up banger, similar to "We Can't Stop" by Miley Cyrus", but also claming that it had a "layer of modernist gloss" due to the input of Sophie.[9]
