Adil Salahuddin

Adil Salahuddin (born in 1944, Delhi) is Pakistan's foremost stamp designer with over 2000 stamp designs to his name.[1] Of these, 400 have been printed including 50 for foreign countries.[1]

Education

He joined the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore in 1962 graduating four years later in miniature painting.[1] He was a contemporary of, amongst others, Bashir Mirza, Salahuddin Mian and Ahmed Khan.[2]

Designer

He was employed between 1967 and 2002, by Pakistan Security Printing Press in its design department in Karachi.[1] It was during this period that he designed the stamps.
