Abena Osei-Asare is a Ghanaian politician and currently the Member of Parlialment for Atiwa East (Eastern Region).[1][2][3][4]

Education

Abena Osei Asare had her secondary education from Wesley Girls High School-Cape-Coast (1995-1997), she later acquired her Tertiary education from the university of Ghana where she studied Economics and Geography .She is a member of the ACCA and has a certificate in Dealing from ACI (Financial Markets Association).[5]

Career

Abena Osei –Asare has worked as the Assistant Director for the New York University in Ghana between the period of (2004 and 2007) and also as Customer Team Leader(2007-2009) and Dealer for the treasury Department(2009-2012) both at Barclays Bank Ghana Limited. In the year 2000 she became a member of the New Patriotic Party and It was on the ticket of this Political Party that she contested for the Member of Parliament of the then newly created constituency Atiwa East (Eastern Region) during the 2012 parliamentary elections.[6][7]

Personal life

Abena is married with two children.[8]
