ARCHI magazine

Launched in 2006, ARCHI magazine is the two-monthly classical music publication of the Italian Strings Society (Accademia Italiana degli Archi), a national association of more than 1,000 string performers, amateurs and enthusiasts which organises numerous string related events, often in collaboration with major Festivals, Music Academies and Competitions.

ARCHI magazine is dedicated to all aspects of classical bowed string instruments and is written by renowned journalists, critics, performers, musicologits and luthiers. Each issue features: News; Concert, accessories, sheet music and CD reviews; Interviews with leading soloists and chamber groups; Articles on great luthiers and their instruments; Essays on famous players of the past; Technical and performance issues; Course and masterclass news; Orchestra audition announcements; Competition announcements, listings and in-depth reports; Fine instrument auction reports.

ARCHI magazine is distributed to all members of the Italian Strings Society and is available by subscription and in the principal music and record shops in Italy. Further, it is distributed to String sections of Italian orchestras; String teachers in Italian Music Conservatoires; Over 300 Music Schools and Libraries; 200 Music promoters; luthiers.
