History

ACD (AutoClaims Direct) was founded, bootstrapped and launched in 2003. ACD is the developer of two major industry software solutions; The AutoLink and SubroLink platforms which assist insurers in processing auto damage and subrogation claims. The firm employs administrative, technology, audit and compliance personnel who work connecting partners within the claims value chain. This includes areas such as service, parts, data, and salvage providers.

In 2009, the company was named for the 1st time to the Inc. 5000

In April 2014, ACD released Self(ie) Service, a mobile web "self service" car insurance claims solution. The mobile technology allows vehicle owners to take their own photos during the claims process. The application was awarded the Gold Stevie in the 2014 International Business Awards.

In 2016 ACD was ranked for the 6th time on the Inc. 5000 and 5th time to the San Diego Business Journal's Fastest 150 Awards.

In October 2016 ACD was named one of the Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America, by Entrepreneur Magazine's E360 List.
