The 2015–16 season is Barrow's 115th season of existence and their first season back in the Conference after gaining promotion the previous season.[1] Along with competing in the National League, the club will also participate in the FA Cup and FA Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.

On 5 June 2015, Barrow announced their pre-season schedule.[21] On 19 June 2015, the club announced Leeds United U21's will visit on 1 August 2015.[22] On 27 June 2015, a trip to Workington was announced.[23]
