The 1992-93 NBA season was the Kings' 44th season in the NBA and 8th in Sacramento.[1] Under new head coach Garry St. Jean, the Kings got off to a fast start winning their first three games. However, they continued to struggle as they were plagued with injuries. With a record of 6–16, the Kings went on a six-game winning streak. However, they went on to lose 18 of their next 24 games while posting an awful 2–12 in February. The Kings finished last place in the Pacific Division with a 25–57 record. Top draft pick Walt Williams made the All-Rookie Second Team, and Mitch Richmond was selected for the 1993 NBA All-Star Game, but did not play due to being injured. Following the season, Anthony Bonner signed as a free agent with the New York Knicks.
