Óscar Fornés López (born 2 March 1983) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a goalkeeper.

Club career

Born in Benicarló, Castellón, Valencian Community, Fornés finished his formation with local Villarreal CF, and made his senior debuts with amateurs UD San Mateo in the 2002–03 season. In the following year, he joined CD Castellón B.

In the 2004 summer, Fornés signed with Elche CF, being initially assigned to the reserves in Tercera División. On 18 June 2006 he played his first professional match, starting in a 2–2 away draw against Real Valladolid for the Segunda División championship.[1]

Fornés played in Segunda División B but also in the fourth level in the following years, representing Villajoyosa CF, CF Gavà, Caravaca CF, Benidorm CF, CD Teruel[2] and UE Olot.[3] With the latter he achieved promotion from the fourth level in 2013, appearing in 28 matches and only conceding 21 goals during the campaign.
