Idlewild - szkocki zespół rockowy, utworzony w Edynburgu pod koniec 1995 roku przez wokalistę Roddiego Woomblea, gitarzystę Roda Jonesa, basisty Phila Scanlona i perkusisty Colina Newtona. Po roku wzmożonej działalności wypuścili swój debiutancki singiel "Queen of the Troubled Teens. Historia toczyła się nadal, zespół zdobywał kolejne rzesze fanów i wydał trzy albumy.
