Morazanograd already has its first resident and it's me

Welcome letterThe current situation for the creation of ZEDEs in Honduras is best described in Eric Breeman's article in the May issue of Journal of Special Jurisdiction which I transleted and even did a shortened summary of translation . Although the idea has opponents in Honduras, there are already three ZEDEs and I know of another one planned for registration. From what really exists in the world, the laws passed in this country were the closest to the idea of panarchy described at the end of the nineteenth century, and even if sceptics continue to argue about the flaw of this option, because of the territorial control of the mother state in the criminal law and teenage relations, nothing more advanced on Earth, in terms of panarchy, has been realized anywhere else.

After all, all other legislation and legal proceedings are given entirely to the discretion of each particular ZEDE, so moving from one legal system to another will not take more than five, seven hours by truck with all the property. And in the future, in the process of development, when the territories with the same specialization but different laws will become very many, the main principle of the evolution of legal systems, "voting with feet", should be launched.Access to Morazanograd from Choloma

I left for Latin America in 2014, fully convinced of the autocratic regime in my homeland and not wanting to participate even indirectly in the war with Ukraine. I chose South America because my health problems required a drastic change of climate and almost all countries of the continent allowed visa-free entry for Russians. I started with Chile, and over the years I have travelled nearly all of South and Central America. I planned to find a job or start my own business, but became convinced that it was not the best place to do business. I became fascinated by the ideas of panarchism and because of this I began to follow the formation of the first ZEDE in Honduras, Próspera. I even came to see it this spring, but Morazanograd seemed more promising to me and here I am its first resident.Entrance gate

Morazanograd attracted me with its forward-looking and thoroughness. It is not a fantasy story, but a project based on an existing reality. If San Pedro Sula is the economic capital of Honduras, if the economy of this city is based on maquils and the main problem is violence, then it is logical to develop what works and get rid of what gets in the way. A completely safe area to live and work in maquila is an attainable goal. The business plan is completely transparent and the whole question is in its implementation, and that is what I am interested in watching, participating in its implementation as much as possible.Left side of the road

Two months have passed since my last report. In that time, the front of the property has been improved so that it is not ashamed to show it to the world, the right side of the main road has been extended to the entrance and three new blocks of townhouses have been laid. The last one particularly pleased me, because I was originally presented with a plan to build them one by one and it would certainly have delayed the development of the area, but perhaps it would have been a more reliable way to avoid some growth problems. It is certainly better to let people live in the new houses and then build the next new ones taking into account their comments. But on the other hand, until a minimum threshold number of people is reached, it is impossible to have a profitable infrastructure of services in the city. The main ring

The Morazanograd development plan is divided into two phases, with the first phase containing sub-phases A and B. In this year's plan, the first 100 families, i.e. about 490 inhabitants, are to be moved into the city. Phase 1A should provide somewhere between 2,280 and 3,400 inhabitants (depending on the proportion of the different apartment types in the houses to be built) and will take two to three years. The city will have its own hotel, stores, school, police station and entertainment center. The main task at this point will be to test the legislation and the norms adopted in the city so that, having finalized them, it will be possible to move on to the next stages, eventually bringing the number of inhabitants to 10 thousand people.Mixing plaster mortar

During the fourth and fifth years of the city's existence, as a result of Phase 1B, the population should be between 3,695 and 5,350 inhabitants. Of course it is worth adding that in addition to housing and workplaces, the city has various recreational areas planned: parks, barbecue areas, children's and sports fields. Morazanograd should become a center of attraction for businessmen planning to create new maquilas and employees wishing to work in them and live in safety.Mixing tile mortar

Mark Luther criticized the existing ZEDEs in Honduras for limiting their plans to cities of 10,000 inhabitants. In his mind, the value of a private city would be noticeable if its population was at least 100,000, and in reality 20 million. But I don't think the emergence of new ZEDEs will be limited to the ones we know now. Such advanced legislation, as created in Honduras, cannot but attract new and new developers to create their own, unlike anything else ZEDE or vice versa, repeating successful practices that have already proven to be good. So I expect an explosive growth in the number of such zones in Honduras in the near future. And in my opinion, it's very right to limit its size to numbers around 10 thousand inhabitants in order not to lose control of the situation, to gather the inhabitants closest to the rules in a particular ZEDE and sharing common values. And as Mao Zedong said Let a hundred flowers bloom". People will be able to appreciate the real successes of each territory, choose the most appropriate one for themselves and get from life exactly what they want most.Foam base of the walls of the third block of townhouses

This is the variety of possibilities dreamed about by Paul Émile de Puydt when he invented an entirely new social order that was beyond the imagination of his contemporaries. Pouring the foundation slab of the second block of townhouses
