Robert Benton (d. 29 Eylül 1932), Oscar sahibi ABD'li senarist ve yönetmen. 1979 yılında Kramer vs. Kramer filmi ile En İyi Yönetmen Oscarı'nı kazanmış, daha sonra bu ödüle Places in the Heart filmi ile 1984 yılında tekrar aday gösterilmiştir.
