Opis programu
Adobe Acrobat 7.0 to profesjonalne narzędzie do składu publikacji. Dokumenty w formacie PDF można dzisiaj tworzyć za pomocą innych aplikacji (nawet bezpłatnego OpenOffice), Acrobat 7.0 zachęca więc zupełnie nowymi narzędziami służącymi nie tyle do publikowania finalnej wersji dokumentów, co do zarządzania obiegiem publikacji. Jedną z najważniejszych nowości w Acrobat 7.0 jest możliwość udostępnienia wybranym osobom opcji komentowania publikacji. Narzędzie takie jest przydatne zwłaszcza do recenzowania, nanoszenia drobnych poprawek, a więc przede wszystkim podczas przygotowywania dokumentu do druku bądź publikacji w wersji elektronicznej.
Do komentowania dokumentów nie jest potrzebny Acrobat 7.0, wystarczy bezpłatny Adobe Reader 7. Nietrudno zauważyć, że Adobe wzoruje się tutaj – do pewnego stopnia – na narzędziach dostępnych w AutoCAD 2005. To tylko pozornie dwie zupełnie różne grupy oprogramowania. Ogromna liczba zespołów inżynierskich i architektów przesyła projekty właśnie w formacie PDF, a firma Adobe najwyraźniej nie chce stracić tej grupy klientów. Możliwość komentowania dokumentów przyda się także w innych zastosowaniach Adobe Reader 7, lecz w nowym Acrobacie jest jeszcze kilka narzędzi dla inżynierów, np. możliwość łatwiejszego importowania obiektów 3D.
