Walter Charleton (1619-1707),İngiliz filozof, yazar, fizikçi. Eğitimini Oxford da yaptı. Bilim, din, politika, tarih gibi değişik konularda yazdı. daha ziyade fizyoloji konusunda adını duyurdu. 1675 te A Brief Discourse concerning the Different Wits of Men adlı eseri yayınlandı.
