Opis:
"Fishdick" był nietypową pozycją w dyskografii Acid Drinkers. Płytę wypełniają przeróbki utworów innych wykonawców i to tak różnych jak Pink Floyd, Slade, Kiss czy Deep Purple. Zespół często brał na warsztat cudze kompozycje (obchodząc się z nimi zazwyczaj dosyć obcesowo), więc nagranie takiego albumu wydaje się dosyć logiczną konsekwencją ich wcześniejszych poczynań. Ciekawostki:
- Litza nie dodawał tej płyty do dyskografii,

- jest to bez wątpienia najdroższa płyta Acid Drinkers. Prawa autorskie kosztowałyby majątek.

- każdy z członków przyniósł na sesję utwory, które chciał zagrać. Litza przyniósł: Oh, No! Bruno, N.I.B. i Run Run Away, Titus przyniósł: Ace Of Spades i Whole Lotta Rosie, a Popcorn przyniósł: Deuce i Another Brick In The Wall. Utwór Higway Star został wybrany wspólnie, a utwór Balada był "odrzutem" z sesji Flapjacka,

- "Acid Drinkers nie byli zadowoleni z okładki. Miały być karykatury muzyków, skończyło się na Ślimaku pływającym pod wodą w poszukiwania dolara. Rysunek wydawał się żartem z okładki Nirvany "Nevermind". O tyle głupim, że płyta ukazała się dwa miesiące po samobójczej śmierci Kurta Cobaina. Dopiero wydanie remasterowane, które ukazało się trzy lata póĄniej, przedstawia pomysł zbliżony do pierwotnego." (cytat z "Raport o Acid Drinkers"),

Description:
Acid Drinkers band was founded on 21st September 1986 on initiative of Tomasz "Titus" Pukacki (vocals, bass) and Robert "Litza" Friedrich (guitar, vocals). The lineup soon expanded as Darek "Popcorn" Popowicz (guitar) and a drummer Piotr "Chomik" Kulk (shortly after replaced by Maciej "Ślimak" Starosta) joined the band. In such personal lineup the band worked over its own compositions - numbers like "Barmy Army", "Del Rocca" or "I Mean Acid" appeared. Within a month of creation of the squad Titus was called-up and left his pals for two years. Others, in the meantime, didn't intend to idle their time away: Litza and Popcorn undertook a reactivation of the band named Slavoy. Soon either of them received a proposal to play for reputable groups: Popcorn from Wolf Spider, Litza - from Turbo.

After having returned from army, Titus tried to reactivate his first squad - Los Desperados. His attempts misfired and Titus himself, after meeting with Popcorn, decided to resume existence of Acid Drinkers. Litza and Ślimak joined the band. Their debut took place on 26th August 1989 on Wyspa Słodowa in Wrocław. That performance was actually the beginning of a true career of the band. Rumor about new, excellent metal group swiftly spread across Poland. Soon afterwards Acids received an opportunity to record an album and therefore - to proceed walking through the path of glory. In this lineup emerged their most known classics like: debut - "Are You A Rebel?", "Vile Vicious Vision" and the most famous longplay - "Infernal Connection".

At the end of 1998, Litza decided to leave the band. Przemysław "Perła" Wejmann, a singing guitarist and a leader of Guess Why replaced him. With "Perła" on board, Acids recorded three albums "Amazing Atomic Activity", "Broken Head" and "Acidofilia". At the very beginning of 2003, Perła made up his mind to leave the squad. It was the result of misunderstandings and opposable visions of band's future and music.

It took almost a month, when the new guitarist was chosen. The new member turned out to be a well-known frontman of already nonexistent group - Illusion - Tomek "Lipa" Lipnicki. Together with Lipa, Acids recorded a well-received longplay "Rock Is Not Enough". After over a year of cooperation, the new guitarist left Acid Drinkers for his own project - Lipali. His place in the squad was taken over by Aleksander "Olass" Mendyk from "None". New member of Acids crew went down quickly. He plays in the band until now.

At present Acid Drinkers play lots of concerts and plan to record a new album.

To date, ACID DRINKERS are the best and most spectacular thrash-metal band in Poland. Their popularity has gone far beyond typical metal music sphere. Acids have played over 500 gigs. Many of those will surely stay in minds of thousands of fans; it would be enough to mention Jarocin festivals, Metalmania, Węgorzewo, Przystanek Woodstock or Odjazdy. Acids performed there as foreground celebrities. The preceded in our country performances of i.a. DEEP PURPLE, MEGADETH, BRUCE DICKINSON, SEPULTURA, PARADISE LOST and SLAYER. Moreover, many known polish artists such as: Edyta Bartosiewicz, Kazik Staszewski, Tomek Lipnicki, Patrycja Kosiarkiewicz or Grzegorz Skawiński took part in Acids; recordings. Acid Drinkers were three times (on 1998, 2000, 2004) awarded with FRYDERYK in hard & heavy category, and received in 1998 from TVP 2 "Złoty bączek" award for being the best music group. Besides, they were acknowledged as one of five best bands of the nineties (together with: Hey, Kazik Staszewski, Edyta Bartosiewicz and O.N.A.) by journalists and readers of TYLKO ROCK magazine.
