Ukkali is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Basavana Bagevadi taluk of Bijapur district in Karnataka.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census, Ukkali had a population of 7707 with 3940 males and 3767 females. This village is very famous for Jawar, Grapes and Pomogranets, Peanuts, sunflower and sugarcane. Hindu and Muslims are living together and Hindus are Majority. The education options in this village are very good. This village has boys primary school, girls primary school, Girls and Boys High school (8th to 10th) and PUC.[1]
