Poornima College of Engineering is the main campus of Poornima Group of Colleges, established by Shanti Education Society in year 2000 with student strength of 180 has now become best destination for Technical Education in Rajasthan. During its journey of 14 years PCE has developed four institutions of repute and has grown to the size of 10,000 students. All institutions are known for excellent placements, consistent university results & 360 degree development of students. All institutions are affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University and approved by AICTE & MHRD. Poornima Group of Colleges comprises Poornima College of Engineering (established 2000), Poornima Institute of Engineering & Technology (established 2007), Poornima School of Management (established 2007) and Poornima Group of Institutions (established 2009). All the institutes are located at RIICO institutional area, Sitapura, Jaipur on Jaipur Kota National Highway (at a distance of 18km from Jaipur Railway Station and Central Bus Terminal and 8km from Jaipur International Airport).

Library Poornima Group of Colleges houses separate libraries in each institute to provide to its students and staff a chance to explore a world of knowledge in a conducive environment. By making accessible a rich collection of print and non-print, primary and secondary material in various disciplines, the libraries support the academic as well as research needs of thousands of students and hundreds of teachers of the institute.

The libraries house a rich collection of text and reference books, journals, magazines, audio/videos, CD-ROMs, research reports, online journals and databases and data analysis software, in all areas of study in all disciplines.

The use of SHARP software in the libraries has made book issuing and depositing system completely an automatic process. The DELNET (online catalog) enables the students and staff to search the availability request and reserve various books and other reference material available in the libraries from the comfort of their houses.

Every library holds a very rich collection of relevant periodicals, magazines and newspapers.

Ready help and guidance is provided to all patrons searching for any book or other reference material within the libraries.

For the convenience of staff and students, the libraries have Xerox machines.

The libraries have cloakrooms for keeping students' belongings safe while they are within the library premises.

Wi-Fi campus

PCE Campus is connected by a 16 Mbits wireless internet available for students.

Remote center for IIT

Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur has operated as a remote centre for IIT Mumbai since May 2012 and organizing various activities as directed by IIT BOMBAY, in which a two-week ISTE workshop on Computer Programming under the National Mission on Education through ICT (MHRD, Govt. of India) conducted by IIT Bombay was held from 16 to 21 June 2014.

The workshop was aimed at enhancing the teaching skills of faculty colleagues in core engineering. The lecture transmission and live interaction took place through distance mode using the AVIEW technology on the internet to various coordinating remote centers across the country.
